Join us for a community feast of celebration!

As the leaves finish falling and the first snowflakes begin, the whole country comes together to celebrate gratitude, warmth, and community. Weavers of the Web would like you to join us for a potluck feast to celebrate our own community and gratitudes.

This is a time to embrace family, whether blood or chosen, and especially extended family. We want to extend that welcome to everybody in the Weavers congregation. If you have other plans already, we wish you the best! If not, please consider us as an alternative to spending the day alone? Let’s come together and create a new tradition full of love and cherished memories.

What’s cooking?

As a church family, we’ll prepare two sumptuous turkeys in two different styles to kick off our feast. However, any good feast runs on the power of shared contributions, so here is where you come in: a sign-up sheet will be posted in the library for you to let us know what you’d like to bring, or you can join via our online sign-up here. Whether it’s your secret stuffing recipe, a delectable side dish, or a dessert to feed the soul, just put down the name of your dish, the number of servings, and anything that makes it special.

To ensure that everyone enjoys a delicious and safe meal, please consider the following:

  • For warm dishes, bring crock pots, heating plates, or other warmers. You may also want to bring a power strip or extension cord, as our supply of those is limited.
  • Chilled items should be brought in coolers, as our refrigerator space is also limited. (Yes, you could leave it in the Great Outdoors, but will it be there when you return?)
  • Specify how many servings your dish provides to help us plan accordingly.

For those who prefer to join us virtually or from a quieter space, we’ll have our usual Zoom call set up.

Come be one of our big, loving family, give thanks, and create some new traditions that will resonate and grow for years to come.

See you at our feast, dear Weavers.
