  • We will be at Keys/Weavers, NOT at the Fenner Center.
  • Zoom call will be open for entire time (click here to join).
  • 1pm: Doors open, raffle tickets go on sale.
Tiger & Dragon Kempo class: learn the moves needed for our Rite of Passage later!
  • 3pm: Shield-making workshop, $15 materials fee for wooden shields
  • 5pm: Circle cast.
  • 7:00pm: Feast begins. Bring food for yourself and (optionally) food to share with the community.
  • 7:30pm (or when feasting is finished): teacup raffle drawing (donations welcome!)

Join us in-person or on Zoom as we celebrate the longest days of the year with our Litha ritual. Bring your favorite outdoor games and entertainment, and enjoy the afternoon and evening as we celebrate the blessings of summer. Please make sure to bring your own seating, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks and drinks, and whatever else you may need to enjoy the weather, indoors and out.

Litha is a time of challenges and transformation. We offer free Rites of Passage at Litha for those moving into young adulthood, which can be anywhere from ages 11-19 depending on individual paths. This year, we are also offering the Rite of Passage to adults who would like to join our community Shield Wall. In addition, we’ll be offering a Blessing of the Babies again for new children who have joined their families over the past year. If you have children or young adults who would like to participate in these special annual ceremonies, please contact Lord Solinox in advance so that we can plan and prepare together.

At 1pm, our doors will open and raffle tickets will go on sale; Tiger and Dragon Kempo class will teach candidates the moves and secrets needed for our Rite of Passage ritual. At 3pm, Alfred Silverstar will host a shield-making workshop ($15) for anybody who would like to make their own wooden shield before joining our shield wall. Circle will be cast at 5pm. Our main ritual will also be available by YouTube livestream and Patreon, as usual, so everybody can enjoy the ritual in whichever manner calls to them best. As a friendly reminder, all observers of WISE-tradition rituals must be participants within the circle, and all are welcome.

For the best online experience, we recommend setting up your own ritual space at home where you plan to be during the ritual. You may want candles, incense, God and Goddess representations, elemental tools, or anything else you have available for a working sacred space. This is optional, but will definitely help you get into the mood. Be sure to have something to eat and drink as well!

After ritual, we will break bread together. Please bring a meal for yourself and optionally food to share if you like. Great ideas for Litha include strawberries and raspberries, early summer squash and greens, fresh fruits and vegetables, mint, and red and yellow foods that remind us of the sun. Ingredients labels will be available to fill out onsite, or you can bring the list with you. Weavers will be providing our basic feast meal to share.

Attendance to our sabbat rituals is always free! Donations help to cover the cost of our space and materials as well as help grow our Temple fund. You can help out by bringing cash, donating via PayPal, or become a subscribing member through Patreon. Circle cast will be at 5:00pm, so please arrive early.

As is now our tradition, we will be having a teacup raffle with donated items. If you have any items at home that are ready to bring joy to a new home, please consider bringing them to donate to the raffle. Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of the day, and the drawing will be around 7:30pm.
