About Our Church

We believe that Deity is one, with many faces. We worship the God and the Goddess in their many guises. We believe that all pagan paths share common truths and offer mysteries that can speak to everyone. Although we most frequently call upon Norse deities in our rituals, we can and do call upon deities from other pantheons as well.

As an affiliate of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, we offer eight Sabbat rituals each year as well as weekly teachings in the WISE-ATC tradition of Wicca. People from all paths and practices are welcome to attend, participate, and share their own wisdom.

New Moon, July 2019

We are actively working toward acquiring new permanent property where we can continue to meet and share sacred space…with a little more elbow room! Our Temple Project plans include space for Keys To Manifestation, indoor meeting and ritual space with kitchen facilities for shared meals, a home for the Pagans In Need food pantry, community gardens, and an outdoor ritual space with a firepit, labyrinth, and shrines.

We look forward to being able to share this new space with the greater Lansing pagan community. In the meantime, enjoy a full schedule of social nights, educational offerings from many traditions and local leaders, psychic fairs, and more in our current shared space.

You can donate to our land fund via Paypal, and we will welcome suggestions of any likely properties you may see in Lansing, East Lansing, or Okemos as we get closer to our down payment goal.

Our Founder

Lord Solinox Silverstar is a third-degree priestx in the WISE-ATC tradition, a graduate and teacher of the Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary, and the owner of Keys to Manifestation. An autodidactic polymath and pursuer of strength and independence in mind and body, Solinox is also a homeschooling mother of six who loves knitting and crochet, science fiction and fantasy, and large quantities of coffee.

Ever since discovering Wicca 30 years ago, Solinox has longed to see the kind of faith-based community and family support for pagans that Christians have enjoyed for so long, a place that can support strong bonds and be a safe place for raising children in our traditions. Solinox first got a taste of this with the Crossroads ATC group in 2009, and began formal training in 2012. In 2014, they began studying at the Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary, where they now teach several classes.

Starting Weavers of the Web in 2018 was the next natural step for Solinox, a chance to make those dreams become a reality for the mid-Michigan community. In addition to nurturing Weavers of the Web and their personal students, Solinox also regularly teaches workshops and presents rituals at a variety of festivals, including Six Crows Gathering, ConVocation, Michigan Pagan Festival, and a variety of Pagan Pride Day events.

What Is Wicca?

Wicca is a neo-pagan religion founded in the first half of the 20th century by Gerald Gardner. From its beginnings as a small, secret group attempting to recreate ancient Goddess worship, Wicca has grown and spread into a worldwide religion with millions of adherents. A syncretic religion that draws on many roots, including ceremonial magick and European witchcraft, Wicca has evolved into many different Traditions, each with their own style of practice. However, most Wiccans share some common elements, including the observance of lunar and solar cycles, respect for the Earth, and a belief in the power of magick to create change in the world.

The WISE-ATC Tradition of Wicca works within an astrological alignment of elements, directions, and cycles. This gives us an arrangement of elemental correspondences that may differ somewhat from other Wiccan Traditions. We believe in the power of ritual to allow us to connect with the Mysteries of life and the Universe. We also believe that not everybody needs to be studying the initiatory work in order to walk our path and worship with us.

“Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth; for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honour and humility, mirth and reverence within you.”

Doreen Valiente, “The Charge of the Goddess”
